Chandler's ledger, 1834-1845 (bulk 1835-1839).

Ledger pertaining to the sale of candles and soap, sometimes in exchange for fat or ashes, with inserted index of personal names. Persons represented in the accounts include Peter D. Vroom and Isaac Southard, among others. The "Firm's Expenses for sundries" [travel] account, 1836-1839, is also present. At the back of the volume (p. 382) is an 1836 summary of "Cash and Capi[tal?] of Soap Candles & Ashes in and Paid for ... to Be received on the Books."
